NIKOS SOTIRIADIS
Born on 1959 in Agios Nikolaos of Crete. He studied to become a technical engineer and eventually graduated as an electrician. He is in sculpture since 1985 systematically. Works of his can be seen in private collections and public areas in Greece and abroad.
His masks and figurines, made with hammered iron, stainless steel and glass, compose the kind of art that springs from inspiration and internal impulse of the creator, concerning two in particular dear objects in the art of Greek Antiquity. Their style, however, has been formed and crafted in the kiln of the human alteration and quest of centuries and milleniums; so that one can finally come to the conclusion, that despite the external difference, the struggle of the artist for the quest of the individuality passes through an antiquity and universality which distinguishes Art ever since its birth.
** All the masks and figurines come with certification of authenticity and in limited number. Also some of them are unique **
